ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING

Journalists from different newsrooms are working on environmental stories with the support of our grants and mentors. This follows two weekends of training and pitching. Their stories are due by the end of July, so watch this space!

We also just trained university students. They too, will be coming up with stories!

MENTORSHIP

Poaching and the over-extraction of natural resources is one of the 5 biggest threats to biodiversity. To help address this, Macaranga has embarked on a year-long mentorship and training project with multiple newsrooms and youth. They recently shared their experiences.
